Melbourne, Back to Business Roundtable – Bold Leadership, Real Impact

Join Business Women Australia as we kick off 2026 in Melbourne with an exclusive Leaders Roundtable, bringing together senior executives, founders, board directors, and professional women to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping business leadership this year and beyond.

Hosted by Sonya Georgievski and Anne Petracca, this high-level gathering will explore:

  • The biggest challenges and opportunities we are facing as leaders right now
  • How to lead collaboratively and courageously
  • What support, knowledge, and connections are needed to move forward
  • Sharing meaningful discussions and insights into what’s working in boardrooms, businesses, and leadership teams today

This Roundtable will also help shape the direction of future BWA programs in Melbourne, as we listen deeply to what matters most to you.

This exclusive session is designed for:

  • Leaders and emerging leaders
  • Business owners and managers
  • Senior executives, professionals, and decision-makers across sectors
  • C-suite executives and women on boards

Meet Anne Petracca

A highly regarded board member and former CEO, Anne champions leadership that blends commercial acumen with community impact, and is a passionate advocate for equity and sustainability in business.

With over 20 years of experience transforming and scaling diverse companies, Anne is a woman who tackles every situation head-on with a “wake up and show up” mindset.

Anne thrives on forward-thinking leadership and bold decision-making, with a knack for creative problem-solving. She excels in identifying and capitalising on market opportunities and implementing effective strategies—the buzz of a challenge lights her up.

As an intrapreneur, she leans into innovation, risk-taking, and driving new projects or ventures to create value and foster growth. She is a visionary leader who inspires transformational change, builds and empowers high-performance teams, and cultivates a dynamic, purpose-driven culture that drives success.

Over the past 30 years, Anne has built her career on opportunities, mistakes, learning curves, hard work, and the courage to pursue her goals with vulnerability, authenticity, and resilience. She has embraced her fair share of setbacks, learning from each with a smile and a dose of humility—because if you’re not laughing, you’re learning. For Anne, ambition isn’t just about personal gain—it’s about contributing to the greater good and fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Committed to mentorship, Anne is passionate about mentoring and supporting women in business and leadership, fostering confidence, and creating opportunities to harness their unique talents and live on their terms. As a Fellow of the CEO Institute, a Leadership Victoria Williamson alumnus, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Outside of work, she loves doing life with her husband, is a stepmum of three, and enjoys travel, a lively night out, breaking a sweat at the gym, or soaking up the excitement at the races.
