Don’t just survive, thrive! with Meriel Steadman
When Meriel was in High School she wanted to be an author, teach in France, marry a Frenchman and have bilingual children. Life didn’t quite work out that way! Meriel has practiced as a lawyer for over 20 years, in the UK, Australia, and the Caribbean. She helps clients at the contract drafting stage to avoid future disputes.
If a dispute does arise (obviously where she was not engaged to advise on the contract!) she advises on how to resolve the dispute, including by litigation, arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. Her clients operate in energy and resources, life sciences, and healthcare industries.
Meriel has 9-year-old identical twin daughters.

Martina is a 36 year old Italian, wife and working mum of an active 4 year old, Leonardo. Martina’s native background is Italian but, after more than 7 years spent across Tokyo, Sydney and Singapore she feels like she has many backgrounds!
During these years, Martina had the chance to develop an incredible resilience having to start her career from scratch in 2 different Countries with success.
Martina has 12 years’ experience in sales and marketing in APJ and Europe Regions mostly for Tech Companies such as Microsoft Corporation. She develops data-driven go-to-market strategies for driving revenue growth.

My guest today says, “Life is not happening to you, but for you to learn and grow”.
Cindy has been an exec coach and corporate trainer until a second diagnosis with breast cancer in Feb 2020 when she shut down her business and sought treatment.
Amidst her darkest days of chemo, Cindy created the book she wishes she’d received on diagnosis – called “The Healing Journal”.
She has also created an online program called the Cancer Companion Course for women journeying with cancer and a range of healing gifts to help people navigate change and connect with their inner resources.

Marion is the Managing Director for Azolla Holdings Pty Ltd, a management consulting business focused on the confluence of strategy, innovation and technology.
She has had an extensive career in the public sector spanning several government agencies and sectors including, water, agriculture, social policy, intergovernmental relations, data and digital reform.
Her work has been published nationally and internationally on public sector innovation and public participation in the development of public policy.
With degrees in science, sociology, policy and planning, along with a Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, she brings a unique perspective on topics based on her experience across sectors, disciplines and practices.
