Gabriela is Manager of Performance at Telfer Operations with Newcrest Mining. As a mining professional she has extensive experience leading teams through challenging times to achieve operational efficiency. She is responsible for over 250 operational personnel and has a multi-million dollar management responsibility. She embraces technology and innovation to add bottom line value and drives strategic mine planning, M&A and life of asset economic evaluations.
Gabriela holds numerous qualifications including BEng(Min), MBA, GAICD, Dip. Applied Finance, Mine Manager Certification -NSW (Coal) and a WA Quarry Manager Certification. She is a MAusIMM Chartered Professional (Min), Chair of Women in Mining and Resources Victoria, Women in Resources Gender Diversity Champion 2017, National Runner-Up Gender Diversity Champion 2017, Finalist Exceptional Victorian Women in Resources 2017 and 100 Global Inspirational Women In Mining 2018.
