Our emcee, Kathryn Dixon is National Relationship Manager, Shadforth Financial Group who will interview these leading women to discover the keys they have used to unlock their ability to reach positive negotiated outcomes in their diverse environments.

Trisha Squires
CEO of AFL Tasmania Trisha is a big advocate for social change and the first woman to be appointed at this level in the AFL. Trisha plays an integral role in the direction of the sport in Tasmania, in particular, game development, state and community leagues, talent pathways, partnerships and the AFLW. As the Founder of The Broadbridge Fund she has made a positive impact on the lives of young people, not only in Australia but also in Thailand.
Lucy Given
Owner of LUC Homewares and Design, Lucy transforms high-end, often inaccessible and intimidating environments to warm and friendly atmospheres.  With 30 years experience in both commercial and residential interior design and retail, Lucy has curated an eclectic and visually beautiful range of homewares, furniture, art and fashion.  A string of impressive awards includes the 2019 Tasmanian Winner of the Small Business category of the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, 2018 Retailer of the Year at the Life Instyle GALA awards and the 2016 Best Homewares retailer of the year. Lucy then represented Australia at the Global Innovations Awards in Chicago in 2017 and won the Martin M. Pegler Award for Visual Merchandising Excellence.
Heather Hicks
Partner, KPMG Tasmania, Heather is a Partner with KPMG, leading the Audit, Assurance and Risk Consulting business in Tasmania.  Her client base includes a range of small, medium and large organisations around the state and sees her managing multiple contracts, clients, teams and outcomes.  Heather interacts regularly with the C-Suite members of her clients positioning herself as a trusted advisor.  Whether it is negotiating with clients or negotiating her way up the career ladder, Heather has experienced highs and lows.  She is still yet to master negotiation with children and welcomes any input or advice on the night!
