There will be an in-depth panel discussion providing many important tips for women in business who are looking to improve their skills and network with a collective of inspiring women leaders.

Jodie Watts is the founding director of Down South Therapy.
Down South Therapy.is a mobile provider of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and Psychology services in the South Metropolitan, Eastern Corridor, Rockingham, Kwinana, Peel and South West regions of WA. Most recently Jodie has won the Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year award, prior to this being recognised by the Chamber as the winner of the Digital Innovation Category and Corporate Business Category. Jodie is passionate about working in her local community to help empower children, families and the community as a whole.
Caitriona Forde is the Founder of caIT.
Caitriona has 20 years of experience in the IT industry and in recent years has focused her attention on Cyber Security and the impact it has on business. In particular, she has a strong focus on the human element of Cybersecurity and assisting companies to train their staff to be the first line of defence against Cyber Criminals. She is passionate about raising awareness of the risks of Cybercrime and helping all businesses to be Cyber Safe.
Dr. Hema Wadhwa
Dr. Hema Wadhwa is a Remote Monitoring and Digital Engineering Services Manager in Worley’s Power Business.
Dr. Hema Wadhwa’s diverse career path has spanned over Academic Research, Engineering, Model Testing, Automation, Business Development and Innovation. She is a dedicated professional with commitment and passion for development of new technologies and solutions. In 2022 she was awarded WiTWA Tech [+] award and one of the three Chief Executive women in STEM in Australia scholarship. She was awarded ‘Women in Leadership’ award on the Women’s Day in 2021 by Indian Society of Western Australia (ISWA), Perth.
Paula Taylor is a co-founder and Executive Director of the West Tech Fest.
West Tech Fest is WA’s longest running innovation festival. Paula is an Ambassador (Australia) for the Global Blockchain Business Council, the Washington, UK and Geneva based industry association for the global blockchain technology ecosystem. Paula is the co-founder of COTU, a Web3 platform engineering new ways of commercialising creativity and bringing people together in unexpected ways. For ten years, Paula worked with D&AD in a number of senior leadership roles across Australia, SE Asia and the US.
Corinne Hawke is the Executive Director, Community and Stakeholder Engagement in WA-SA for nbn Co.
Corinne is a strategic professional with deep expertise in corporate-community partnerships that deliver social and economic impacts, relationship management and strategic multi-stakeholder engagement, communications, community relations, community affairs, governance and social investment. Multi-sector experience with all levels of government, corporate, small business, and the community sector, with a focus on collaboration, teamwork and productive and positive relationships that support strategic goals and result in mutual benefits. She has worked with leading global energy and resources businesses such as Chevron, BHP, Rio Tinto, Wesfarmers, Argyle Diamonds, ConocoPhillips, and Alcoa.
Lyn Hawkins (MC)
Lyn Hawkins is the National Director of Business Women Australia.
Lyn is a management consultant with a focus on business growth, marketing and cultural transformation. She has held senior roles with KPMG, HHG Legal Group, HLB Mann Judd and Telstra, in addition to General Management roles with technology-based businesses. As a Principal of a successful consulting practice Lyn works predominantly with professional services firms (legal, accounting and technology) and executive teams developing and implementing business development strategies.
