Women are notoriously not putting self-care as a priority. The art of self-sacrificing and placing the needs of others before our own finds us diminishing our reserves. Conversely, if we have been hurt there are times when our self-focus gets out of whack and becomes overly absorbing. If this resonates with you, or you have witnessed these extremes with the women you work or play with, join us at this month’s conversation, with a wine and gourmet cheese as we share, learn and grow. Members and guests of Business Women Australia will explore the power of finding freedom through prioritizing and understanding what real self-care looks like. We will be guided in this deep and meaningful chat, by our wise host and facilitator, Vida Carlino.
This month we will explore what self-care looks like when it ‘unlocks’ and empowers us to recharge, maintain energy and vibrancy, while nurturing our overall well-being. Ultimately self-care enables us to put our own needs first, as leaders, as managers, as women …to enjoy more fulfilling lives.
Everyone is welcome to register and join us at this safe circle, to share and unpack the times we have not achieved the best level of self-care, and to understand the times when a fixation on self-repair is misaligned, reducing our resilience and ability to engage actively in the world around us.
If you have been looking to connect more deeply with other business and professional women, this conversational event is for you.
Book today as the event is limited to 16 business women. Chatham House rules apply. What is said or happens, stays in the space.
