Perth BWA Panel Q&A: Critical Issues facing WA Businesses
Join the Business Women Australia community for a panel-led conversation with our host, BWA Premium Member, Natasha Lie, Partner of LG Accounting Solutions. Our experienced panel will share their insights into the critical issues facing WA businesses, and their thoughts on surviving and thriving despite the current challenges. Emcee Lyn Hawkins, National Director of BWA, will pose the questions that tap into the expertise of these exceptional women. There will be an opportunity for open Q&A, a light lunch and quality networking with executives, professionals and business leaders.
Economic uncertainty, inflation, rising costs, supply chain challenges, decreasing consumer spending and the impact of the pandemic continues to pose numerous challenges for small and large businesses in Australia. Access to finance is more constrained with stringent lending criteria, and keeping up with technological advancements through digital transformation is becoming more crucial for success. Staff shortages and the availability of a skilled workforce is impacting competitiveness and growth. Meeting regulatory requirements and navigating complex compliance frameworks has become more burdensome than ever, while staying updated with changes in tax laws, employment regulations, cyber security, data protection, and industry-specific compliance requires time and resources.
While the myriad of issues paint a bleak climate, there are also massive opportunities facing Western Australian businesses. Our panel will share their inspiring and creative approaches to access resources, finance, market opportunities and people. Hear their ideas on how to increase productivity, develop the skills needed and secure the cyber safety of the business .
