Join Business Women Australia members and guests, along with National Director Lyn Hawkins and Leadership Coach, Lauree Arnold. In this interactive, online webinar we will be exploring the feeling of “Imposter Syndrome” and how this impacts our lives.
Imposter syndrome refers to the belief that your successes come from luck rather than your skill or talent. Coined in 1978 by psychologists Pauline Rose Clance and Suzanne Imes, they noticed that women were especially affected by this phenomenon.
Imposter syndrome can materialise in different ways; from the perfectionist who sets impossible standards, the expert who won’t apply for a job unless they meet all the criteria, the talented individual who feels they failed if they don’t succeed the first time, and the soloist who believes they must do it alone.
Join the conversation as Lauree Arnold guides us through understanding self-limiting beliefs and how to ease them.
This will be the perfect opportunity for all business women to participate, including executives, professionals, those managing teams and anyone keen to understand the impact of imposter feelings, and how to overcome them. You don’t need to be a member to register your spot.
