Join Michelle Pascoe, Business Women Australia Leader and Founder of Optimum Operating Procedures and Services (OOPS), along with Martina Saldi, BWA Premium Member and Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft online for an afternoon of relaxed networking. Grab a coffee, healthy juice or vino and jump online to catch up with BWA members and guests, reflect on the week, and have a bit of fun.

We will engage in an honest conversation about women in STEM and how some male dominated industries are changing with a look at the journey ahead to ensure equal opportunities starting with a speak-up culture.

Martina will share her journey from Italy, across Asia and to Australia, where she has settled with her husband and children. Martina’s story will be full of personal insights, triumphs and overcoming challenges associated with being an expat across multiple countries, sometimes in male dominated industries.

This is a great way to wind down and connect with fabulous business women from all around Australia. A positive dose of fun and optimism, a bit of sharing and caring during these challenging times. Michelle is known for her down to earth personality and is able to draw anyone out of their shell to join in the fun.

This will be an arvo of exchanging success stories and the challenges in male dominated industries, and how all women and man can stand up to make the changes that need to happen together with a focus on STEM industry. Join us for a virtual event full of surprises, a few laughs and great support.

About Martina Saldi:
Martina is an Italian expat living in Australia with a professional background in product marketing, sales, and PR. She currently works as Product Marketing Manager focused on Compliance, Data protection and governance and Risk Management within Microsoft ANZ business group. She was already working for Microsoft back in Italy when she left Milan to explore the World with her husband and fulfil her life dream to live in different Countries. Her journey brought her in Singapore, India, and Japan where she lived for about 4 years and where she got married and had a beautiful baby. In Japan, Martina organised large events for the Italian Chamber of Commerce and developed go-to- market strategies for Chamber’s members and Government Institutions across the Country. “Being an expat can be tough sometimes but It totally revolutionised the way I approach life, the challenges and the risks that come with it.”
