About the Host, Lyn Hawkins:
Lyn is the National Director of Business Women Australia and a management consultant with a focus on business growth, marketing and cultural transformation. She has held senior roles with KPMG, HHG Legal Group, HLB Mann Judd and Telstra, in addition to General Management roles with technology-based businesses. As a Principal of a successful consulting practice Lyn works predominantly with professional services firms (legal, accounting and technology) and executive teams developing and implementing business development strategies.
About Suzi Chinnery:
Suzi is the Head of Capability and Impact at CARE Australia. She leads CARE Australia’s program strategy, including theory of change, alongside a team of technical specialists delivering on program quality in women’s economic justice and climate justice.
Suzi has over 20 years experience in markets-based approach, gender equality and economic justice for women, supporting development programs predominantly across the Asia Pacific. She has experience in areas of women’s civil and political leadership and is a leader on defeating gender-based violence and has worked on addressing gender equality at enterprise and supply chain level. Suzi holds a Bachelor of Business, Masters of International Studies, Masters of Public and International Law and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology.
About Hayley Conway:
Hayley is the Head of Public Affairs and Engagement at CARE Australia. Her team combines public education, stakeholder engagement, government relations and media in pursuit of CARE Australia’s mission of supporting women and defeating poverty.
Over the last 15 years, Hayley has worked across not-for-profit and for-profit sectors to lead evidence-based advocacy and campaigns in areas as diverse as technology regulation, mental health, state and federal elections, LGBTIQ+ rights and renewable energy. In addition to her role at CARE, Hayley is a Director of Equality Australia and the Green Institute and is a Williamson Fellow. She holds a Masters of Communication.
