About this event
Join this online, interactive webinar hosted by Lyn Hawkins , National Director of Business Women Australia, together with Bianca Tarrant, Founder of Our Cow, Australia’s best meat delivery subscription service, delivering grass fed and organic meat straight from Aussie farmers to the door.
Hear how passionate and entrepreneurial Bianca is about the sustainability of rural and regional Australia. In just 3 years Bianca and her partner Dave have grown their e-commerce business from $0 to $15million revenue, and the growth trajectory continues following a successful capital raise of almost $2.5million earlier this year.
Bianca will share her story, the challenges that resulted from bushfires and drought and the dire need to pivot the family business, selling some of her own beef on social media that led to the creation of Our Cow.
This webinar is designed for ambitious women with an interest in business success pathways, entrepreneurial “opportunistic” thinking, agribusiness, marketing and agile tactics.
Be inspired by this Aussie success story and join the conversation. Register today for the zoom link. Members and non-members of BWA are welcome.
About Bianca Tarrant:
Bianca and her partner Dave bought their first farm in 2017, making the big move from city to rural NSW. Shortly after buying a farm, bushfires and then drought all but wiped out their property and livelihood, and they had to think fast or lose everything. From necessity comes invention, and the idea of selling their own beef on social media spawned a multi-million dollar business. Bianca has done just about every job along the way, from butchering to order packing to marketing, now leading an ever-growing team of 30+ right in the heart of Northern NSW. Our Cow delivers grass fed and free range beef, lamb, pork and organic chicken directly to the doors of customers all around Australia, with a focus on sustainability and service.
