Business Women Lunch – Perth WA

Location: Shadforth Financial Group – Central Park Level 28, 152-158 St Georges Terrace, PERTH WA 6000

Business Women Round-Table – THE BOARD DIRECTOR

Join Business Women Australia and The Governance Institute at our October Round-Table Discussion, hosted by our national partners, Shadforth Financial Group, for a topical, open and honest conversation.

Serving on a board should be a mutually beneficial relationship with a positive impact being made on the board, the organisation and the Director. The recent focus on misconduct in banking and financial services brings a spotlight on corporate governance failures while highlighting takeaways that are very relevant for SMEs and their directors, regardless of the industry or the size of the business.

We will explore the need for discernment and the lessons all directors can learn, as we share experiences and insights relating to roles and duties, impacting on strategy, governance and risk management.

This round-table discussion will appeal to Board Directors (current and aspiring) and those on Advisory Boards, plus executives tasked with Governance and risk management e.g. CEO’s, Financial Controllers / CFO’s, General Counsel, HR Directors, Chief Risk Officers, Lawyers and Accountants.

Join the opportunity to engage with women on boards and those who aspire to be on boards, together with women in risk management and company roles working in governance and strategy.

Chatham house rules apply so there will be plenty of sharing as we provide support, knowledge building and a community of influence

A working lunch and refreshments will be provided by our generous hosts, Shadforth Financial Group.

The Governance Institute of Australia is proud to be sponsoring this event.
